What is reported?

The progress of compliance monitoring and outcome level KPIs will be reported periodically.

Who is the target audience?

Reporting of the ASEAN economic integration progress and outcomes will be undertaken and tailored for a wide-range of audiences. Some reports will be exclusively presented to the ASEAN member states while some reports will be made available to the public such as the ASEAN Integration Report and the ASEAN Economic Integration Brief. The public reports synthesise and provide analysis of trends and issues at the overall AEC Blueprint level as well as the specific sectors under the AEC.

What is the purpose?

These reports facilitate informed decision making in relation to the respective SWP. It facilitates the setting of intermediary milestones or activities to achieve specific objectives and cross-cutting strategic decisions.

What is reviewed?

The AEC Blueprint 2025 is reviewed periodically, as decided by the AECC, based on the M&E activities and reports. The suggested review period is every three years. Mid-term and end-of-term M&E activities for the period of 2016-2020 and 2021-2025 will be conducted as prescribed in the AEC Blueprint 2025 to inform the review process. The respective sectoral bodies will likewise review their SWP.

What is the purpose?

The review is aimed at enhancing the level of economic integration in ASEAN by ensuring the AEC Blueprint 2025 remains relevant and is able to adapt to changing demands and challenges in the regional and international economic landscape.
